Specifications and requirements for our trailer units

The dimensions of our container units are, Height: 2.6 metres x Length: 3.1 metres (+ towbar 1.6 metres) x Width: 2.05 metres x Weight: 1.18 tonnes. When hiring one of our portable trailer shower units there are certain requirements that need to be considered. These are:

Gas Requirements: Hot water is heated via one continuous flow hot water heating unit requiring 2 x 9kg LP Gas bottles which are supplied with the unit. Customers are required to ensure gas bottles are full when the units are returned.

Power Requirements: A six-metre electrical lead with a standard 3-pin outlet is supplied with the unit to operate the water pressure pump, steam extraction fans, lighting and power outlets. The trailer has full RCD protection.

Water Requirements: The water required to feed the unit is 25 litres per minute and is fed via a 6m flexible hose supplied with the unit from a water source such as a hose tap. Wastewater is discharged via a 40mm BSP outlet and a six-metre flexible waste hose supplied with the unit. Water needs to be disposed of in a Local Authority Bylaw-approved manner, e.g. gully trap, soak pit or manhole.

The unit can be towed like a normal trailer by a 2.5L tow vehicle with a certified tow bar with an inch and seven/eighths or 50mm tow ball. Pick up and return from one of our nationwide depots. Detailed installation instructions are provided prior to collection or delivery.
